On September 10, 2024, at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, Mr. Nguyễn Đức Quỳnh, Chairman of IBH Academy, represented the academy in signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation and the Center for Rural Economy Development (CRED), officially launching the Swiss Executive Hospitality Training Program (Swiss EHT).
The Swiss EHT program is developed as part of the “Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development in Vietnam” (ST4SD) project, sponsored by the Swiss Government. The program aims to enhance the quality of human resources and contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s tourism industry. The Swiss EHT program introduces international standards based on global best practices and meets the practical needs of Vietnam’s tourism sector.
Helvetas and CRED play a crucial role in promoting collaboration between the École hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) – the world’s leading hospitality management school in Switzerland – and domestic institutions to develop this training program. The program is designed for mid and senior-level managers as well as experienced professionals aiming for managerial positions.
IBH Academy is proud to be one of the four domestic institutions selected to deploy this prestigious training program, alongside the National Economics University in Hanoi, IBH Academy in Da Nang, Van Lang University, and Saigon Tourism College in Ho Chi Minh City.
