On July 16, 2024, the IBH Academy organized a studying tour of the Furama – Ariyana Danang Tourism Complex for 31 students from STREETS International Hoi An. Under the guidance of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhuong, Training Director, the students had the chance to learn about the hospitality and the facilities of the Furama – Ariyana Danang Tourism Complex. The tour included visits to the lobby, restaurants, bars, bedrooms, and the lush tropical gardens of Furama Resort Danang.
STREETS International, established in 2009 and based in Hoi An, Vietnam, is a free professional vocational training program in the service and tourism industry, lasting 14 months. This program is for disadvantaged and underprivileged youth, orphans, and those without access to education.
Before ending the tour, the students had the chance to meet Mr. Gentzsch Andre Pierre, General Manager of Furama – Ariyana Tourism Danang Complex cum Senior Advisor of the IBH Academy. In his speech, Mr. Andre shared his career journey and talked about job opportunities in the hospitality industry. He also stressed the importance of studying hard and seizing job opportunities during Vietnam’s economic growth.
