The technical meeting to gather expert opinions for the development of the Executive Hospitality Training programme and train the trainer was held from 26th February to 1st March at Furama Resort Danang.
Over a period of five days, experts from EHL Hospitality Business School in Switzerland provided guidance to trainers from four training facilities: IBH Academy, Saigon Tourism College, Van Lang University, and University National Economics. The guidance focused on teaching methods to facilitate learners and practicing skill exercises according to international standards in order to obtain EHL certification for Master Instructors of the EHT program in Vietnam.
Experienced experts in tourism and hospitality, both national and international, contributed valuable insights to develop the EHT programme for middle and senior management staffs in Vietnam. The program aims to meet the practical requirements of improving the quality of national human resources while also promoting internationalization.
This is a research and exchange activity in preparation for the official implementation of the ‘Swiss Tourism for Sustainable Development in Vietnam’ project (ST4SD). The ST4SD project, funded by SECO, aims to support Vietnam’s tourism sector in becoming more sustainable and inclusive.
