On October 28th, 2023, at the Furama Resort Danang, an Inter-regional Meeting in Tourism Ecosystem between Côte d’Azur – France, and Danang – Vietnam was taken place with the aim of promote tourism and cultural exchange between the two regions. The event was organized by Danang Tourism Association, the Danang Hotel Association in collaboration with the European University ULYSSEUS, Côte d’Azur University and the culinary heritage resort Furama Danang.
At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam – Managing Director of IBH Academy, shared information about IBH Academy; especially international cooperation activities in recent years. In particular, with the mission of “Inspire everyone, every business with experience, skills and hospitality spirit”, after 3 years of operation, in addition to domestic partners, the IBH Academy has expanded cooperation with international 12 partners from different countries such as École Hôtelière de Lausanne (Switzerland), SABA Butler Academy, Singapore Polytechnic International, Swinburne University (Australia ), Greenwich University (UK), Dong-A University (Korea), Technos College (Japan), Pegasus International College… With activities: consulting students’ graduation projects, guiding the field trips, receiving interns, organizing international seminars and intergrating the training cresdits from IBH Academy to the curriculum; Ms. Tam looks forward to the opportunity to cooperate with the European University ULYSSEUS, Côte d’Azur University, France in the field of training and education in the near future.
Attending the event was a delegation from France, led by Mr. De Pariente Thomas, Deputy Mayor of Cannes City (French); Pr. Christofle Sylvie – Scientific Deputy Director of Côte d’Azur Tourism Institute; Mr. Tricard Vincent – Executive Director of Côte d’Azur Tourism Institute; Mr. Tschann Michel – Owner of Splendid Spa Hotel and Hotel Gounod and Treasurer of Tourism Committee Côte d’Azur; Mr. Bossard Adrien – Director of Departmental Museum of Asian Arts and the Lympia Cultural Centre; Mr. Azinheirinha Lauriano – Managing Director of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Area Tourist Office. Representatives from the Vietnamese side include Pr. Dr.Sc Bui Van Ga – Ex. Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Pr. Dr.sc Le Thanh Nhan – Director of the Danang International Institute of Technology, University of Danang; Dr. Cao Tri Dung – Chairman of Danang Tourism Association; Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh – Chairman of Danang Hotel Association; Mr. Gentzsch Andre Pierre – General Director of Operations of Furama – Ariyana Da Nang Tourism Complex, and representatives of hotels as well as the International Convention Centre.
