On July 21st, 2023, at Gallery room I & II, Furama Resort Danang, IBH Academy and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held the opening ceremony of the Professional Receptionist Training Course.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tien Quang – Director of VCCI Da Nang, Ms. Vi Thi Hong Minh – Deputy Director of the Employers Department of VCCI, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai – Deputy Head of the Department of Vocational Education Management, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh – Vice Chairman of Danang Tourism Association, Chairman of Danang Hotel Association, Mr. Vo Hong Son – Rector of Danang Commerce College, Ms. Ha Thi Vy – Vice Rector of Danang Tourism College, Ms. Vo Thi Quynh Nga – Head of Tourism Faculty – Danang University of Economics, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam – Managing Director of the IBH Academy and representatives of businesses and 15 participants of the training course.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Mr. Nguyen Tien Quang and Ms. Vi Thi Hong Minh emphasized that this is one of the programs that link vocational education with the labour market and sustainable jobs in the 2021-2025 period implemented by VCCI. Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Vice Chairman of Danang Tourism Association, Chairman of Danang Hotel Association assessed that the pilot training course on professional receptionist skills is a bright spot in improving training methods that VCCI and IBH Academy jointly implement. The training course is expected to take place in 1 month from July 21st, 2023 with the training modules directly related to the practical knowledge and skills of a professional receptionist.
